Hello From Australia

My name is Ray Brand and I am from Victoria Australia (The mostly cold bit at the bottom).
A number of years ago my sister and I were pretty active in searching out our family tree.
We had some moderately satisfying success which was great.
At one point we decided my sister would concentrate on My dads side, while I hunted for my mum's lineage,
I must have posted a question of two back then somewhere, I don't remember where now but I received a lovely letter from a lady in
the UK that was distantly related to me, and had traced quite a lot of my mum's side of the family.
Well life has taken a few turns since then, I am divorced now and in the ensuing turmoil of separation I have lost a lot of what I had found out including an envelope she
sent me containing perhaps a dozen photocopies of a hand drawn family tree that included my mum's branch that extended back to the UK.
I have looked in every packed box, file drawer and bag but cannot find the document of the address of my wonderfully helpful distant relative.
So here I am in an attempt to try and reconnect with her.
I think this thread is only for introductions so I will try and find the correct spot to post.
Key family ancestor names of interest to me are...
The lovely lady that helped me was a ms Mrs? Marigold Cleese (sorry for any incorrect spelling)
