I'm completely new to this Genealogy stuff and am finding it; a, extremely interesting and b, a little frustrating verifying ancestors whom I find. Any tips would be gladly appreciated. I am initially searching for my ancestors by the surname KENT and PARKIN. The KENTs seem to have been around Newcastle for quite some time, then moved to south Manchester. Haven't done a great deal on PARKIN other than what my mother has given me but haven't researched these yet. I have subscribed to one of those Genealogy web sites. Thank you.
