I was drawn to this site when a web search (duckduckgo) threw up mention of a family I already knew I was related to being discussed on this site.
I've been doing a little and slowly over the years, and have seen the results of extensive efforts of others that means one surname has been traced back to c1500.
My main surname interests are JENKINS, MIRZEN/MIZEN, JACKSON, RIETIKER, MORGAN, STANNARD and GREEN.
The relevant locations for them are mainly: London, Suffolk, Norfolk, although I am also interested in my immigrant ancestry.

One question: if there are PMs, how does the recipient get notified about them?
Thanks
Ben

Thanks, SRD - I was worried that I might be waiting for someone to log back on to the system who has forgotten they ever used it! ...now I just have to hope they still use the email account...

Hello Ben,
you can see if they have picked up your message by going to your emails and then click outbox. If it is still there it hasn´t been viewed.
Also you can see when they last visited to the forum. If you click the name of the person and look to the right of the screen, it says last visited with date and time.
Hope that helps.
