Hello
I have an on-off relationship with family tree research characterised by periods of enthusiasm and brickwalls. During this period of interest I decided to raid the excellent Black Country Connections site and fill in some of the gaps. My wife is very pleased to discover she is related to William Shakespeare (albeit the Dudley one) and I enjoyed discovering that my Elizabeth who married Edward Griffiths (b.1824) is Elizabeth Tromans.
I am still looking at William Kendall (b.1825) and his marriage to Mary Ann Raybould (m.1848). I had been looking for a marriage before the birth of the first daughter Mary Ann (b.1847) so I was interested in the notes on the tree regarding Mary Ann Kendall Raybould (b.1847) and its discussion on this forum regarding Joseph Amos:

I like the link between William Kendall and Mary Ann Raybould (especially as the 1841 census may show them living very close to each other – if that is William), but I am not sure that their daughter is the wife of Joseph Amos. In the 1871 census when Mary Ann Amos (Wife 24) is living at 32, Dudley Wood, Mary Ann Kendall (Daur. 24) is still living with William Kendall in Dudley Wood.
My interest is through Richard Kendall (b.1866)
Thanks for all of the help so far and I thought that I had better join this time having promised to do so three ago when I first discovered BCC.
Jon
