Levi served in the forces but was discharged through ill health- a heart complaint in 11 Nov 1839 perhaps he was ill again somewhere in 1871?

There are also records for:

Name: Levi Hadley
Birth: abt 1817
Residence: 16 Oct 1843 - Worcestershire, England
2 weeks for larceny, no prison

and

Name: Levi Hadley
Birth: abt 1816
Residence: 26 Feb 1847 - Worcestershire, England
Receiving stolen goods before convicted of felony, 6 months

If that was the same guy perhaps he was in prison?
