Hello, my name is Caroline and I have been researching my family tree for a couple of years. I only do it in my spare time and am just a beginner! I thought I'd join this forum as I am increasingly coming across things that throw me and am second guessing myself with what I have done so far... I just need a bit of help!
I am researching my maiden name JARVIS and have got back to my 5X great grandfather born in 1770. I have searched what I can online now and have most of the certificates I need (BDM). I have many questions which I will post in the appropriate category. My main issue is where do I go now? I'm guessing actually gong to the area my ancestors were from....not sure where to start.
