American Cousin

Postby hadleyro » Thu Jun 14, 2018 1:34 am

Greetings fellow forum members.

I'm your American cousin (hopefully not stereotypical) searching for connections to England.
Our line of Hadleys can be traced on paper to Ireland where they had involvement with Iron either owning a small foundery or ending up as gunsmiths and several have suggested that our line likely come from the Halesowen area.
There has been a Hadley society actively persuing connections for many years - hiring researchers, personal visits to parishes, etc. We are now focusing on Y DNA to find the tie and then build the connecting tree.

I would be very interested in talking with any Hadley men who come from a long line of Hadley men to offer subsidized Y DNA test.

Please help us - if you know of anyone who may interested my email is [email protected]

And thank you again for helping connect the past with the present through your work and labor of love of this forum.

Cheers -

Ross
