Home Chainmakers in Old Hill

Postby LisaPaUS » Thu May 26, 2011 5:05 pm

Hi,

My Willett's relatives were chainmakers in Old Hill, who worked from home, is there a way to find out who they worked for?

It would have been in the late 1800's and early 1900's.

They could have worked for themselves Lisa or for a local Chainmaker, selling on their wares, there's really no way of telling, unless someone can find Elisha on any documents at Dudley Archives. HTH Linell.

Thanks Linell! I don't see the Willett's I was looking for but I did see an Arthur Willetts in the list. Not sure if he's connected to my line or not.
