DEATH OF PRIVATE J.HULL- a former worker in business in nechells park road,pte j hull (worcester regiment) aged 40 years, reported missing at the dardanelles on the 6th august 1915, is now officially notified amongst the dead. his home was at 7 back, 69 talford street, small heath, where he leaves a widow and ELEVEN children. :cry:

My Dads cousin

Harold White (merchany Navy)
killed on board S.S Caledonian Monarch
14/1/1942
aged 23 years.

Harold had previously been on board SS Kingston Hall when it was hit by a torpedo, he was rescued from the sea and after a few weeks at home went back to join the Caledonian Monarch. He left behind a 19 year old widow and a 2 year old daughter
