Hello,

You recently posted a newspaper cutting regarding Joseph Bird who worked for Chances Glass and was killed in action in France during WW2. I have discovered he was my first cousin and would love to know any further details you may have or simply the name of the newspaper concerned.

sorry for not getting back to you sooner, my birthday the weekend :shock:

from memory the typeface looks like the west bromwich 'the free press' newspaper, if not it will be 'the midland chronicle' :oops:
