Can anyone find a Caroline Collingbourne on the 1861 census?
She was born abt 1846. Parents are George Collingbourne and Harriett Sharratt.
In 1851 she is living in Salmon Road with parents.
In 1861 I can't find her, I did find her widowed mother, sister and brother living in lodgings in Heath Street.
She only would have been 15 so assumed she couldn't have moved out. Thought maybe she had died but I found a marriage record for 1873 to a William Stevens which I'm pretty sure is her as fathers details match up.
I then found her on the 1871 census in Princes Street working as a servant. William Stevens is also living there as a coachman so that fits.... But I still cannot find her in 1861. I'm wondering if she went into service at 15, but I would like to find her. If anyone does manage to locate her please tell me how you managed it! Thank you!
