Software Down

Postby mumbles » Tue Mar 02, 2010 10:03 am

My Family Tree Maker 2005 will not open . Comes up " Not Responding"
Tried repair and it would not work so tried un-install and re-installed from original cd but with same result.
I have gedcom files and backup.(Windows XP)
I have contacted FTM technical help but it appears they only help from 2006 16th edition so it might be planned obsolescence ? and I need to buy more up to date version

Managed to get working again by repeating un-install and re-install and then switching off and re-booting.
Televisions were much easier when you just banged them on top and picture came back.
They should have made computers the same !!!!
