Received e.mail from FMP
noting 1921 Census will be available 6th January 2022

But :-
£2.50 for every record transcript and £3.50 for every original record image.

10% reduction for 12 month subscribers

Hope it is easy and accurate to search as in old days you could pay for a lot of red herrings. You were also able to get reduction by buying points towards search

What will protocol for using info on this site and Bcc as we are not allowed to put full details on Bcc just bare details and reference to FMP

Just wondering if those restrictions apply to all trees? I have my own tribal pages tree and have similar info to BCC, so I'm assuming it's the same rules for everyone?

It is always complicated when it comes to this... :?

Best not for the time being... just basic info if it helps. Costs enough as it is without paying more too!

I have used 1921 Census and it is easy to use but found Transcriptions are not good and needed to spend money on originals to check obvious errors . I found same with 1939 Register and reported errors which were quite easy to check against 1911 Census and Electoral Registers in 1930,s

I found my grandfather and great grandfather were down as Henry instead of Harvey, so I've reported the error - I prefer to see the image, so as yet haven't ordered transcripts, only the originals, but the error meant they didn't come up until I tweaked my search criteria.

I've just purchased a £3.50 copy for 1921 census for my dad who was 7 at the time. He was living with his gd parents and one sister as as his mother had died when he was 2 and his father remarried. Am I right in believing this was filled in by the actual family as the errors they put are unbelievable. 1911 census was much better for info. This one has no address, no relationships and no proper names. My dad was John so he was called Jack when he was older but they have put him down as Jack and the gran by her middle name. Also looks like written in pencil as not very clear print at all. Fortunately it was the correct family but don't know where 2 of his siblings have gone to.
Overall a tad disappointing!

Silly me. Have just found there are extras at the bottom of page for address etc. Also located the 2 missing siblings living with their dad and step mum and her children.

Could get carried away with this if not careful and the cash would mount up.
