Predictive Text on Bcc

Post by mumbles »

I seem to have lost predictive text in boxes on bcc site
i.e.
no surnames pop up with drop down previously entered
no places pop up with drop downpreviously entered
no churches pop up with drop down previously entered

On desk top lost completely
On lap top ones previously entered will pop up but will not save new entries to pop up later

I am using Google Chrome browser or Internet Explorer but same problem

Any Solution appreciated

You may have changed your computer settings, as my lovely husband has done with our laptop!

Found how to get back text by going into "Autocomplete" and ticking all the boxes

That's happened to me also today - haven't cleared any cookies

Usually, if I add a marriage to Lookups - I just add Marriage - and get a drop down list. Stopped happening today.

tribal pages technical

The following only applies to those sites with over 2000 names ...

We have removed the autocomplete boxes in the "edit person" page. These have been replaced by Lastname and Firstname selection lists. Several members found autocomplete boxes confusing to work with. Also they were not compatible with some international characters. Please let us know if you encounter any issues.

Additionally, we have replaced the "enter person id" boxes with lastname/firstname lists where ever applicable (for example in the "select start person" option in the settings page).

A person should have an opinion on everything, It becomes tact whether you reveal that opinion or not.
