if not born in county could be the surrey one as suffolk a bit far out ?

should have both parents on as born after sept 1837

before this date its the parish records (no mothers Maiden name)

I guess the next thing is to try and discover and piece together parts of there lives now i know who they are :-)

Any advice on the best way to go about this is welcome 8)

try goggling coach building 1840 etc ?

I have ordered the certificate this morning, apparently takes up to 20 days to arrive :shock:

So sorry it has taken an age to respond after all your good work guys/girls

2 job changes has meant a turbulent year

Anyhow i have George Edwards birth certificate (finally)

George William Edwards
Born : 14/10/1843
Place : Petwroth

Father : John Edwards (coachbuilder)
Mother Emily Moore

What i am need is a concrete way to tie these to a son Alfred Edwards(he is the mystery family member) Apparently feel in the thames and drowned!
