I have John Rees born 1803 in Cadoxton, Neath, Wales. He was christened on 2nd Oct 1803 but I can’t find names of his parents. A relative has his fathers name as Edward, but I can’t find any evidence of this & she’s not sure where she got that info from. John married Elizabeth Griffiths in 1834 but I don’t have a death date. The family lived in Cadoxton all their lives, as far as I know and John and Elizabeth were both alive in 1881.

Ok, I have now found his father on Free reg. It is Edward, And his mother was Margaret Edward, married 1801. Also, Edwards father was William Rees, and now I’ve come unstuck because there are 3 possible William Rees's in Cadoxton, all baptised in St Catwgs. 1748,1749 & 1753. I’m not sure I’ll be able to determine which one, but I’m on a roll, so on I go.
