Lincolns in Somerset

Postby blincoln » Fri Apr 05, 2019 7:09 pm

Looking for any Lincolns in the Crewkerne, Chard, or Taunton area who can trace their ancestry back to 1600. I believe my ancestor is the Thomas Lincoln who married Elizabeth Baylie in 1626 at Cricket St. Thomas, and lived in Crewkerne. Matching lineage on paper, or taking a paternal (Y-DNA) test by any male Lincolns to establish my family connection, is my goal. Thanks.

Anyone? Any Lincolns in or around Chard, Crewkerne or other nearby towns willing to share lineage and possibly Y-DNA test? I'm trying to find out where my ancestors lived before coming to America c1635.
