George & Effie Lelliott

I have a George Richard Lelliott b. 1887 West Grinstead, Sussex to Peter & Emily possibly died 1967 Sturminster, Dorset.
In 1917 he married Effie (Euphemia) Maria Short b. 1888 Ashington, Sussex to Lewis Henry & Caroline.
They had a son Louis Henry George in 1919.
There are Kelly's directory entries for George as a cycle agent in Ashington.

Please can anyone find Effie after their marriage?

I presume you have George with his brother in 1839. Louis married 1838 and I can't see him either?
I did see a family strangely, James Short I think it was? With a Leslie Lelliott there too.

I think you mean 1939, if so, no I don't have that record, but from what you say it suggests that either Effie had died or moved on.

Louis joined the Royal Navy early in 1938 (witness Long Service Medal awarded in 1953 after 15 years service) so may have been abroad in 1939. He died in 1961 and his wife married Charles E Lane in 1965. I think she was still alive in 2015:
