Was there a Church?

Postby jac » Fri Feb 01, 2013 5:03 pm

Am I correct in thinking there was a church in Wolverhampton St Dudley, now Lloyds Bank opposite the old G.P.O. ? next to it was Balls a second hand shop. No one I know seems to remember it.

There used to be an old Church opposite Trinity Road which has been demolished and I think there's a new one been built in it's place.

There's The Old Meeting House along Wolverhampton Street which up an alleyway right next door to the KFC. I don't ever remember Lloyds Bank being an old church. The Banks now vacant.

I'm wondering if the white building you remember backing onto Horseley Gardens is the back of the The Old Meeting House which is/was a non conformist church.
