John Heighway says he is from Stanton Lacy in several census.

I would expect his baptism to be in Munslow or Ludlow but can;t find it.

I would like to find out more about the Rowley line. William Rowley, his sibblings, parents abd grandparents. I have read a lot of stuff online ablout the Rowley's of Shropshire and was trying to find if there is a link with William Rowley and "Rowley's House" see this site - http://www.discovershropshire.org.uk/ht ... 1004115218
Also do you know if there is any military records for William Heighway, William Walter Heighway and any of the Rowley family.
I would also like to find some information on the other side of my family - Saunders of Dean Prior (Charles & Embling migrated to Aus in 1852) but I think I will need to do a seperate posting for that.

The Rowleys do not appear in the Anglican Church records so I assume they were atheist or non-conformist.

To link anybody back to a 17th century property would require some investigation in person at the Shropshire archives.

It was not the property I was trying to find a link to but the family - William Rowley (1572-1645) or any others mentioned in the article on that web site. The article makes much references to the same area that my grandmother came from.
