The 1967 death is William, son of William Walter Heighway and mother unknown..

On Florence's death in 1935 her father is a William and mother Martha.

Isn't William the nephew, not brother, of Florence?

Isn't this his birth?

The only reference I can find for a William Walter Heighway is the 1963 electoral roll for Bondi.

His job is "House Duties" and a Margaret is living in the same house.

Looks like this is him leaving for Oz in 1951.

So, William Walter Leslie Heighway is the nephew, not brother, of Florence May Heighway.

William Walter Heighway is the brother of Florence May Heighway and he never came to Australia.

He married, had his children and died in Liverpool.

You will have to confirm Ann's identity with the marriage certificate.

Thanks Mark This is very helpful.
Sure looks like Ann Brown is Martha's mother.
I wonder if I could get hold of Marthas Birth certificate and what information would be on that regarding her mother?

Couple of other things I would like to find out on -
* Martha Heighway migrated to Australia, she was on the electoral role in 1930 (Electoral Role 1930 Wentworth Bellvue Hill). when did she migrate and is there any record of this?
* I have another sister for Martha that is not listed above - Sarah born 1860, I wonder if she was working some where else at the time of the census ?
* William Heighways father was John Heighway, any record anywhere of what his mothers name was?
* Parents name being passed down seemed common. With the children for William Rowley & Ann, they are mostly about 2 years apart and first born was named Ann. But I notice there is a gap of 5 years between Betsy & Martha & no William in the list, wonder if there was a William?

Thanks
