One occasionally comes across interesting combinations within families but one I've recently investigated is pretty complicated.
Louisa Eliza Lelliott married Charles Morris (Maurice) Woollven in 1890, they had at least 4 children before she died in 1899. By 1901 her sister, Edith Mary, had moved in with Charles as Housekeeper. The census shows him, his 4 children, Edith and her 2 month old daughter Dorothy May (presumably illegitimate) living in the same household. He married Edith in 1906, by which time she had had another illigitimate child and by 1911 they were married with the following family:
Morris Charles Woollven Head 43
Edith Mary Woollven Wife 31
Married: 4 years, Children born: 2, Children alive: 2
Mabel Nellie Woollven Daughter 3
Arthur Ted Woollven Son 2
Charles Morris Woollven Son 19
Albert George Woollven Son 12
Bertha Minnie Woollven Daughter 14
Dorothy May Lelliott StepDaughter 10
Tom Reginald Lelliott Step son 6
Quite a menagerie.
