Thanks Jimmy: I have those, it's the census prior to the marriage in 1890 that I'm after.

Can anyone help with census finding the parents of George Weston b. abt.1865 Billersly Common prior to marriage in 1890. m Father named as George Weston (Labourer) on marriage. I believe it's not the son of George married to Elizabeth McKenzie as he is down as single on 1891, 1901 & 1811 census....

I believe I connect to DianeL,Richtea blackcountrybiker,,through the Garratt line.
and Oscar & Queeny through the Weston line.
Samuel Weston married Martha Garratt in 1897 (My grandparents).

HAPPY NEW YEAR !!! Bah: HUMBUG !!! On New Years eve, In Wolverhampton, somebody took the front wing and bumber of my 'Astra' and didn't even stop. every time I venture into the Black Country, somebody tries very hard to 'right me off'...… Luckily the wife was driving...so...COMPLETELY BLAMELESS !!!

I have an ancestry hint that the abote chappy my 2x great grandfather was in the england and wales criminal register for the crime of manslaughter for which he recieved a months imprisonment on the 10th march 1838 anyone any idea how I can find out if this is true as there are quite a few John West...
