Thanks to everybody for the help with Rupert Humpage and his family. It does appear that the witness to Rupert's marriage D Lightwood is his brother-in-law. Esther Parkes (Parks) was the daughter of Ephraim Parkes and had a sister called Mary (c1777). I'll let you all know if I find out for certain ...
