Could anyone please help with any information on John Ben Tilley and his forebears. He married Susan Charles. John possibly born c.1900, and they may have lived in Mincing Lane, Rowley Regis in 1930's. Many thanks.

Thank you - yet again Jimmy. I'd seen some information on BCc, and discovered that two James Bridgewaters and two Minnie's, a Cartwright and a Tromans were born at similar times. Dudley Road was mentioned, and that "Minnie was from Old Hill." It seems that Cartwright was his mother, not hi...

I thought I'd found him, but dismissed the weaver theory too as on Hamlets second marriage cert his father Edward is a file cutter also. I think the Liverpool / Lancashire link is correct. Thought..I wonder if the "weaver" was mis-transcribed or confused with the address of Weamen Street. ...

I have a William George Claydon who married Grace Warrie Marlow at Sparkbrook on 31st Dec 1917. I believe he was born 31 Dec 1892 at West Heath Worcs, and his father had the same name. Could anyone help me with more information about the Claydon's? Many thanks.
