I'm not going to temp fate so that's why I've started a new post 1960's Motorcyclists etc.
Plus I've managed to avoid Social Media like the plague.
Thanks everyone.

1960's Motorcyclists that visited Stourbridge Pubs etc.
Hello,
This is an appeal to any Bikers who visited Stourbridge around the time a Club was thought about being formed, it didn't happen but a photo was taken at the time of approx 50 people and most of the names are remembered but not all.
Send me a PM.

Re: Lye and Wollescote
Admin, Redirect this post if in the wrong place. There are a small number of local motorbikers from the 1960's that meet once a month for a chin wag at the Garden centre in Barnett Hill. We used to meet back in the 60' at a couple of Pubs in Stourbridge in the evenings. A photo was taken of them (I'...

BIRTHDAY WISHES TO SANDRA ROUND TODAY
Sandra and I are from The Lye, Sandra from the then Pargeter Street and me from Bank Street. She's a day older than me. :P We were friends as long as I can remember but the closeness I let slip over the years growing up, and I regret that now. Here's hoping she's still with us. Anyone reading this a...

Hi,
The surnames Willetts, Pugh and Guest are familiar but from The Lye and Wollescote not Old Hill.
Good searching.

Sorting through my past Aunts papers and found this cutting, I don't know anything about it sadly.

Re: Lye and Wollescote
Seasons Greetings everyone, I'm new here, 1949 model and have lived in The Lye and Wollescote until the 70's and not far away even now. I have been reading the threads already posted with interest mainly because as I get older I find myself thinking more about the past, is that normal? The names, fa...
