There is a newspaper report from 1970, an inquest after Herbert Scragg died in a traffic accident...if I remember correctly...I was looking at it this morning but had to rush out. It mentioned son George and gave Herbert's age I think

There is a marriage for Annie Crowther to Richard Brittain in 1911 at Birmingham (on ancestry) it might have some names on it?
I suppose we are assuming that Charles Crowther died between the 1911 census and Jane's 1919 marriage, but she could have just moved out?

Is the marriage wrong/miss transcribed and on census?
