saly, I dont think so.. I think they were the church clerks or somethign cos they show up in many marriages as witnesses, a joseph meready and william salt I think.. checks...

Hello.. Im trying to find the births... and parents.. of John Law and Margaret Turner... They were married at st peters wolverhampton 1st mar 1792... Margaret was baptised st peters 28 mar 1774 with her fathers name as "John Turner" John Law was born c1770 and presumed... staffordshire tho...

Hello.. I have a Willian Griffitsh.. (born as Griffis) b 1839 Lichfield... In 1861 he turns up as an "inmate" at Brompton Barracks gillingham w the royal engineers... first question... Is there any way I can see his war record for this time? secondly.. I cant see him in 1871... well not on...

Yes.... U found the right family there and yes henry does have a couple of surname variations, the next generations become proper 'Griffiths' only surnames

Hello....i dont know too much, but looking at the card I'd say rank is either brigadier or bombardier (Bdr) and under that Cpl, corporal? And if where it says RFA/4/A-B is what I'm thinking...maybe he was in 4th division, a and b batteries? The only reason I'm thinking that is that I recently accide...
