Thanks Antie Em, researching from Australia I am fascinated by the informative and simplistic procedures used to give location names. The use of place names on rivers, seas or localities give a vivid description of there location.

Could someone please enlighten me as to where Hampton in Arden, Warwickshire is located. My Great Great Grandfather Joseph Taylor was born there in 1825. He later married and resided in the Oldbury area where my Great Grandmother Ann Taylor was born in 1861. Is Hampton in Arden part of Birmingham?

Regarding Joseph Talbot, I do know that he was previously married to Sarah Duddle at Tutbury about 1837. Sarah died about 1850, Joseph then remarried to Mary Faulkner from Tutbury in approx. 1852.

Thanks rockyfowler, both census reports do relate to my Giles family. I will now use this information to trace family through other census details. To peterd, the above mentioned marriage certificate for Walter Talbot and Annie Giles shows Walters father as William Talbot and Annies as Thomas Giles....
