Print a tree?

Hi I wonder you can advise me on the best software for actually printing out a family tree. At the moment my research is on Genes Reunited and a host of A4 "family sheets. Neither is any use for showing a family tree. I would like to prune my tree a bit and possibly split it into branches. I wo...

Re: HAMBLETT

Thank you for the help so far. I'm sorry for the delay in getting back to you but I've been working. I think the first marriage quoted is correct but I don't have the certificate. The second marriage 13/12/1845 at The Coll & Parish Church of Manchester. Thomas Quinlan and Mary (X) Rathmill. Witn...

Re: WALSH

Thank you for the info & guidance. This is what I wanted, thank you. It confirms what I thought and gives me a route forward (in fact backwards) for the surname Leigh. The William & Grace Walsh event is isolated in that I cannot think of a way to double check it. Any thoughts? A merry Christ...

Re: WALSH

Oh yes, the old scattergun approach to family history. Thanks peterd I'm sure all the Anyon or Anion Walsh's listed could be cousins/nephews/uncles of my Onion, I mean Anyon. But both BC Wench and yourself have kindly shown definite events such as Anyon marrying Peggy Leach 1817 and Anyon's death in...

Re: Hi from dear old Glasgow town

The regeneration of the Crown Street area of Glasgow has created a highly liveable neighbourhood with well-placed community facilities and attractive public spaces. As part of the Gorbals area, the neighbourhood has undergone a number of redevelopments during the last century and has traditionally b...

Re: Hi from dear old Glasgow town

It is Tottie.........Except for the "Kiss" Glasgow kiss is a head butt. Within Glasgow itself the term 'Gorbals kiss' is often used, referring to the most dangerous area of Glasgow. It is hypothesised that within Gorbals it is known as a Crown Street kiss; and on Crown Street it is called...

Thanks for the Welcomes

mikleed wrote:Mactavish..........Is'nt Walsh more of an Irish name? ?

These WALSH ancestors of mine are all in England with no indication of being Irish. In fact the first name Anyon is used in this branch which I believe is a name used in Wales.

Cheers

Hi from dear old Glasgow town

Hi I've been involved in genealogy for ten years or so. The majority of my family are Scottish although I have roots to both Belfast & Dublin. I do have some English based ancestors namely HAMBLET, WALSH and RICHARDSON. Despite having my tree posted on other sites I have not found anyone that ca...
