Does anyone have any information on Southwick Stables. Paddington in 1855, please? This is the address given by William Ward and his then wife to be Sarah Jarrett on their marriage certificate.

Thank you for that Mark. I knew of the baptism record, hence my comment 'maybe illigit'. As far as I know there is no link in the family with Murry, but it is interesting that they exist in the Ipswich area. How likely is it that an illigit would be baptised in 1828? Supposedly my great-great grandfather. Great-grandfather (also William) was born about 1828 in Stoke Ash Suffolk (maybe illigit).
