Re: Charlotte unk poss Gloucester

Is it just me or is the date wrong on that page: Unknown, Charlotte b. ABT 1843 Gloucester m. Re: Lilie Hale

Not hugely helpful but there is a death for a Lillie Hale in 1944 age 64 i.e. b 1880 (doesn't seem to be any probate record for her).

As she's a widow in 1938 I searched for marriages of a Hale and a Lillie/Lily/Lillian etc from 1898 to 1938 but found none.

Re: Richard Cartwright

I'm not sure what you're asking here Apart from some variation in parents age, the 1901 record and the 1891 record add up - i.e. Richard (junior) born abt 1889, older sibling Harry who has left home by the 1901 census, the other children born after 1891. If this is the correct record then Richard (s...

Re: Richard Cartwright

At a guess I'd say it was the Richard & Elizabeth at Cottage Street in 1891 with sons Harry & Richard: Piece: 2309; Folio: 20; Page: 10; The ages are a little adrift but that's not unusual. If you are Ancestry user stantonkim I see that you already have this record saved to your tree (but no...

Re: SALTER - Bristol

Try 1861 census:

RG 9; Piece: 1727; Folio: 55; Page: 6;

Where John Salter is lodging next door to Henry Sullivan and family - an ancestry user has that John, son of David, marrying Jane Maria Sullivan.

Seems like a distinct possibility. :wink:

Re: Mr Kendall Mill owner mystery

Try the 1861 census:

Piece: 2032; Folio: 106; Page: 40;

Where:

Park Street
Thomas Worrall Merchant, Iron Roller b Walsall
Son Henry abt 1854

Enjoy ;)
