Trying to find military records
Hi. I am looking for some info about my Grandads RAF career during WW2. I have some photos of him based at RAF Weeton which I believe was near Blackpool. I t...

Re: Joseph Henry Heyes info
The witness were Millicent Owen and Joseph Ashurst. The 1911 census could well be Dora's family. Will try and order Josephs war records, thanks for the advise.

Henrys dad on the marriage certificate was a Ralph Heyes (my great great g...

1921 uk census release
Can anyone tell me why we have to wait so long to be able to access online census info in Britain. Like many people I would love to access the 1921 census records but will have to wait until 2022 which is ridiculous. I understand the 100 year rule but with the growing interest in family tree researc...

Re: John Mckeown and son help needed
The marriage certificicate is for John Mckeown age 37 (1882) and Jane Walker Buckley age 33 (1886), she had been previously married hence the two names. Married 1919 at St Annes Catholic Church. I believe Johns profession was a dyer, Janes profession left blank. Johns residence at time of marriage w...
