Hi there, Many thaks for your kindness and help. It is much appreciated I looked at lilian too....but from what I am told Lily is definatley a 'Lily' rather than a Lilian...the baptism register says Lily and so does the marriage register the puzzle continues ...any help much appreciated Best Wishes ...

Yes..myself and a friend both searched the GRO on Ancestry and neither of us found Lily...

Lily Mayer Scriven was born in March 1901, daughter of Jessie Scriven of Dye Lane, Alveley, nr Bridgnorth, Shropshire Lily is listed on the 1901 census, but I can't find her in 1911 census ????
