I put all relevant details into Ancestry yet they keep on coming up with irrelevant dates and persons. Am I doing something wrong or is there a better website? eg Henry Alexander Meredith from Dublin dob 1880 traveled to NZ in early 1900's?

Where would I get the birth certificates from if the children were born abroad?

A **********(surname) married Charles H Allport in 1948. The following were born to *********/ Allport, all in Birmingham.
David H Sept 1951
Barbara and Christopher J 1952
Nigel 1953
Timothy J 1959
Karen J 1956
Martin R 1960
Are they all siblings and was Marian their mother?

Its difficult to know what to do next whithout getting birth certificates for all! Any suggestions?
