Couldnt find either Letitias in 1911..has to be them as Mabel is there too!

I think there was also a Joan but she was adopted out. I will try and find out about Mabel I even have photos of her! I will let you know as soon as I find out when she was born Thanks

Very strange that they all seem to have gone missing in 1891! I am not surprised by the age variations as that has happened so often during my research! My mum's cousin has sent me Letitia's birth certificate Just waiting for it to arrive in the post but she emailed me to say:
My Grandmother (Letitia Harris Powell) was born on 26 May 1890 the address is 6 North Dingle U.S.D. I have the certificate so yes she was born before 1891

Apparently Letitia had 3 children from her marriage to William Heighway in 1912..William Walter, Letitia and Geoffrey She also had another daughter called Mabel Isabela Jones (father unknown). I am assuming that she could have been born out of wedlock but cant understand why Jones? as Letitia's maid...

I keep coming across this other Letitia Powell born the same year but it isnt her My great grandmother Letitia was born in Kirkdale on 26th May 1890 and her parents were William Powell and Ann Jones Sorry
