Her father Charles is the one im struggling with, I have found one born in 1855 however in the 1881 and 1891 census he has no daughter called florence and in 1901 I cannot find him at all - I know he was still alive as he attended his daughters wedding in 1902. Bit of a Noob question but is there anyway to view the 1911 census online without paying massive subscription fees or paying large sums for a small number of credits ?
I dont mind paying a bit but the sites I have looked at want 100s in subscription fees ?

Thanks to both, these help a lot, I know his wife was a fishsmoker as well so im am guessing they met at work and it most likely would have been local as far as employment records go - did things like that even exist in 1881 ??
