You have been so helpful. I'm at a loss as to how to find her. So frustrating when you can't go back any further without that marriage. She has used the name Jane and Diana.

Thanks Jimmy. If you search for a Dinah Caton does she come up anywhere in Bromsgrove? I suppose you have alrady done that anyway.

Death certificates say Dinah Caton was 19 and Edward Jones was 40. The latter could be wrong. Both say Worcestershire and the year would be abt 1857.
Desperately seeking parents to keep on the hunt.

They were married in Worcestershire 1856-57 going by the death certificates. His age doesn't match some of the details. We also don't have a true birth for either of them owing to not knowing the parents, hence why we need the marriage. Dinah Caton was 19 when she married and he was supposed to be 4...

I've been researching on and off for years. I came across this site today and am hoping someone in Worcestershire might be able to help me find a marriage. Surnames I am hunting for in this marriage are Caton - Jones. I will now look for where to post my request. Happy hunting everyone.
