Thanks so much, that's given me loads to go on. The surname Geary is definate as I found an old "autograph" book belonging to my great aunt with beautiful drawings and paintings in it and 2 where signed Geary! I'm off on the Geary trail, probably need more help soon - you guy's are good at...

Frederick Russell 1881 -?
Born in England in 1880, served and married in South Africa circa 1907, think he can back to London area and then to Bermuda. Anyone have any ideas how to find out more info? Thanks, Anne
