I may be wrong, but it was my understanding that although we think of the 1911 census (England and Wales) as having been released 'early', technically it was actually late. The reason being that it was unique of all the census taken in that the clause which specified that the personally identifiable...

Hi Adiboo. My great grandfather did the reverse journey - the Binsteads were from Hampshire, but he came all the way to Manchester (via London and Reigate) and settled up here in Lancashire. Personally, having visited Hampshire a few times, I think your ancestors did things the better way round!!!!!...
