Re: Chislehust cemetery look up?

I should have thanked you for pointing me to Genealogy Forum which has been great.

Don't forget to send me the finders fee of £36 :P for finding out your grandfather's plot!

Isn't this outrageous too!

Re: MARJORAM of Lowestoft

An elusive family!

There must be another avenue I haven't explored yet.

Is there a BMD website for Suffolk?

I may have come across a gravestone picture for Ellen Marjoram - have requested the picture!

Re: Marjoram of Lowestoft

I have Edward and Jane's details and census records.

I am looking for Helena's (great-grandmother) siblings.

I have their birth index, not their marriage or death.

Re: Marjoram of Lowestoft

I have the Edward Tyrrell Marjorum record and his parents, Edward and Susan.

Its great the 1891 census have come up trumps this time! Did they they spell it, MAYORAM, not MARJORAM?

Can you find anything about the siblings?

Best
Edward

She had 3 sisters and 3 brothers, they are; Ellen ~ 1869 Jennie ~ 1870 Alice ~ 1872 Edward ~ 1874 Ernest ~ 1876 ...

COMPLETED - Death Record

Many thanks Jo for explaining this.

Thanks to Peter D for pulling this up.

I have downloaded the Index record.

Maybe the recorder misread "H" for "A" - it happens!

Re: Death Record

No, don't have any problems pulling up the census, birth, marriage records, just her death records. Seems Peter D has pulled it up for me When I understand the line he has pulled up a bit better then I will request a death certificate. The Marjoram is the next question I will put up on the post shor...

Re: Death Record

Great, could I ask where did you pull this information from please?

Could you please explain what the code means as I looked at google map and Cheadle is South of Manchester and she lived in Old Trafford which is some distance away?

What is CHD/2/10? Is that an index reference?

I managed to find her burial record in Southern Cemetery, Manchester from the General Manchester Burials and Cemetery Index. Now there is a twist here, you canno...
