Re: Greenhill Farm
Yeah I spotted the house on Google Maps, grade II listed, so I'll be visiting there in the spring.

Re: Greenhill Farm
Thanks for this, really useful.
I also find it useful because my ancestor William Toy b 1820 grandson Thomas Toy b 1883 married an Emily Darby b 1882, potential family link there.

Greenhill Farm
Hi, it's been a while but I'm having another run at filling in some gaps in my family history. I'm actually now getting more interested in the daily lives of my ancestors, where they worked, where they may have socialised etc.. So one of my ancestors showed up as a Male Servant at I believe Green Hi...

Ok, so does that mean it won't be closed?
Whilst I appreciate all the help everyone gives me, do you think it may be an option to bring in a Geneaologist?

Re: William Toy m Mary Parker
However, Elizabeth (Betty) Westwood did marry a William Toy in Halesowen, so maybe it is Betty and not Mary.

Re: William Toy b abt 1796 Death record.
I'm looking for his father and mother. I did find a Wm Toy b 1768 who married an Elizabeth Westwood. I haven't found any other Toy(e)'s that fit, I know it's a long shot but my instinct tells me this is them, I just haven't found concrete proof. I know you don't put anything on your BCC unless its 1...

Re: William Toy b abt 1796 Death record.
While this thread is still open I wanted to order a death certificate of a William Toy d 1857 in Stourbridge, but I am unable to do it online. Is there an alternative way?

ARC TBC Elizabeth Westwood
Hi, I've decided to do some more research into Elizabeth Westwood who may or may not have been my 5th Great Grandmother. I know that she married a William Toy 10th April 1786, and strongly suspect they had a child William Toy b 1788 m Now I understand there wasn't enough to suggest a concrete link, ...
