It's actually James Edgar Ellison, I made a mistake in my original post. I have his parents wedding certificate, but it doesn't help much in working out what happened to him. After he was born there just doesn't seem to be any mention of him anywhere ever again. I'm just curious really. It seems a b...

Hello, My uncle, James Edgar Ellison was born on the 22nd of November, 1907 at 43 West Bowling Green Street, Leith, Edinubrgh. But then he doesn't seem to have ever died. Can't read the writing on this old record

Hello,

I'm struggling to read what is written on my Great Grandfather's death record. I'm also not entirely sure about his first name, or his wife's maiden name!
