Thank you Mark. I have a copy of the Will and the Probate list from his nephew who was the main beneficiary. I confess that I have struggled with deciphering it. I have a fascination for this ancestor of mine. I believe that he was born in 1753 and according to the plaque on his tomb in Ashby de La Zouch (Leicestershire) he died on 30 June 1828 in Derby.
