Good advice , thanks ... yes i have her address in the 1911 census , her father had already died , her mother died in 1913 , so your saying if i try the electoral rolls for 1913 onwards for that address she may be on there ?

Is there anyway i could find out where my Great Grandmother was living between 1913-1921 in 1913 she was 16 , and had younger siblings when they became orphans , its probable that they lived with other family , and she married in August 1921 and i know where she was by then . can anybody find a david higginson from blackburn born 1887 leaving the country sometime after the census of 1911 , he was married to elizabeth , i have found reference to him ENTERING the country from Montreal Canada in september 1951 alone and then retuning alone November 1951

I've always believed he was born in blackburn , i do not have a birth certificate , but all the census i have seen since they returned (abt 1884) say blackburn , if thats true we are looking at maybe only a 3 month window when they sailed
