I applied to Liverpool Register Office for a copy birth certificate in August. I got a letter saying that they had a back-log and it would take 6-8 weeks. It took more like 11 weeks. Is there another Register Office in the country which is even more inefficient than Liverpool?

Births Mar 1861. GOSTAGE , Thomas Daniel Kempster, Ellesmere 6a 6_6. It looks like Gostage on the image. Hi again And again, can I know where this info came from? Does it suggest that Thomas Daniel Kempster Gostage was born in Ellesmere and is that the same as Ellesmere Port, Cheshire? Thanks Ann
