Re: Birth look ups, please

I think this is the correct one, though, because it seems to tie in more with other as...

FAMILY TREE MAKER 2010

I have recently changed from FTM2006 to FTM2010, and wish I hadn't.....It does give you more options for information, but I find it too fiddly and time consuming. I am seriously thinking of changing software completely, but need more information on other software. What other software do members use ...

Re: USING AN ALIAS

Yes, this was my Charles. From memory the last time he was before the courts was about 1881 - he had just been released on parole, and stole a silver watch from a judge - duh !!!!!! He was released in 1884 due to ill health and I think he managed to stay out of trouble with the law - not saying that...

Re: USING AN ALIAS

Big, big thank you to everyone; you have all got the right person. He really seems to have had a problem with authority, even on parole in WA he still managed to end up in jail again. The last time he was sentenced was 1881 and was released in 1884 due to his failing eyesight. I have a copy of his o...

Re: VERY ELUSIVE 4TH GREAT GRANDPARENTS.......

Thanx everyone for your hints and suggestions; I will take everything on board and see what I come up with, and let you all know. The earliest mention I have of the Poland family in Devon, UK, is the birth of Zebulon Poland circa 1750/55. If I can locate his parents, then I'll be able to see if the ...

*Archive TBC* - USING AN ALIAS

How and where do I start looking for an alias used by an ancestor. G/grandfather apparently used one after he was sentenced to 7 years in Western Australia. Is it possible to find out if he was using the same alias before sentencing ?

Thanx
Annette ...... :?
