Hi all how very interesting! I have ancestors born in Paradise - I think its where the Minories was. I also have addresses such as Pleasant Place and Darkhouse, which I have no idea where they were originally. Also, The Dudley Hutments and the munitions huts which Im told there was once a large fire...

Hi the link is good and may well be it as the farm itself was on top of the nature reserve which is along Wrens Nest Hill the last tennants in it were the Martins. Thank you both a visit to Kew seems a very good idea :grin:

I have the recent history of the Martin family possibly going back a fair bit I'm not sure but defo the generation from the farm ~ its more the history of the farm for my dad as it was his home as a child and has memories also a picture would be good

Oh I see No my grandfather Bill Martin said that it was Earl of Dudley Farm but we all knew it has Wrens Nest Farm a interesting bit of info about it was that Bill and Harold started the footie team Wrens Nest Rangers (still going to this day and their descendents are still playing) they trained at ...
