Thanks for all your posts so far, the 1943 death looks promising.
At the moment I'm trying to trace descendants, rather than ancestors, for probate purposes.

Re: Alfred Henry Price
Thanks - I had the same hopes for that event, but another team of researchers tells me that he was Alfred Horace, not my Alfred Henry.
Am still looking and hoping!

ARC TBC..............Alfred Henry Price
My grandmother Sarah Elizabeth Price was the eldest of four siblings, the others being Alfred Henry, Frederick and Jane Ellen Price.
Alfred Henry is shown as aged 26 on the 1911 census living at 53 Newtown Lane, Cradley Heath. Does anybody know what happened to him after this? Any info welcome.

Re: Coley Headstone location?
Many thanks, Jimmy.
I was hoping it was in St John's Halesowen, but didn't realise that responsibility had passed to the council.
Cheers,

Coley Headstone location?
Hi there,
I've seen Steve Cullen's picture of the Charles & Jane Coley headstone - can anyone help me with its location?
I hope to be in the area shortly and would like to pay my respects.
Regards,
MT

Re: Singletons of the Fylde, Lancashire
Many thanks for the info. We've found the marriage certificate, where Robert's father was also Robert Singleton, and Susannah's father was John Dickinson. Delving into the LDS website and online Parish records suggests that father Robert married Ellen Clifton in Garstang in 1826, giving rise to the ...

*TBC Archive* Singletons of the Fylde, Lancashire
My wife has gone back as far as the marriage of Robert Clifton Singleton and Susannah Dickinson in Garstang on 8 October 1850.
Is anyone else researching this line, or can recommend a family history website for Lancs on a par with the admirable Black Country Connections?
Cheers,

*Arc tbc* -Tibbetts/Price and Coley/Barton
Hi, I'm Mike T from Cradley (and Halesowen), currently researching the TIBBETTS family tree. The Black Country Connections seem to have done most of the work for me, but I wouldn't mind filling out a few of the branches. My paternal g/father William TIBBETTS was born in 1880, the son of Thomas Adams...

Tibbetts/Price and Coley/Barton
Hi All, I'm Mike T from Cradley, currently living north of the border. I'm also new to family history, but discovered in a few clicks that Black Country Connections has my paternal tree going back to 1500 - job done!! However, it would still be nice to add some more details. My paternal g/father Wil...
