Re: Help with Bramwell and Gresty please.
Thanks, It may be a second marriage but I have come across a lot of instances where they don't get married untill a couple of years after the birth of the first child. No certificates yet for either Gresty or Bramwell as I've not been too sure of the info I've found, I even tried to do a search on F...

Re: Help with Bramwell and Gresty please.
Thanks all,
You lot are b****y marvelous, I've obviously not been looking in the right places, most of the places I have found that seem to have the information cost and funds are a bit limited here being medically retired.

Re: Help with Bramwell and Gresty please.
Thanks for the replies, being very low on funds we have little choice of where to look and a lot of the places don't seem to have a great deal of information.

Looking for CARROLL and HARDY
Hi, I wonder if anyone can shed some light on the ancestors of Michael CARROLL born 1838 in Manchester, Lancashire. The earliest trace we have of him is in 14 Barrack Street, Hulme, Manchester in the 1871 census. We also seem to have hit a brick wall with the name HARDY, the earliest we have is of W...
